The demineralization of VIA DBM Sponges and VIA DBM Strips improves their bone handling properties while continuing to preserve inherent growth factors.¹ The available bone morphogenic proteins, or BMPs, provide osteoconductive and osteoinductive potential¹ for new bone formation.
