VIA Linx™ is a molecular medical device that when applied to a wound, assembles in situ into both a protective barrier and a scaffold, modulating endogenous repair signaling. Its multi-modal functionality supports the body’s natural repair processes: migration, adhesion, and proliferation of host cells fundamental to the wound healing cascade. Upon application, it transitions from a liquid to a semi-solid promptly as local ionic conditions trigger self-assembly.

VIA Linx™ is a novel self-assembling synthetic peptide matrix designed to integrate seamlessly into wound care protocols while establishing multi-modal structure at the wound interface. VIA Linx forms a β-sheet nanofiber network characterized by noncovalent, dynamic, and reversible molecular interactions among nanofibrils, the ECM, and cell surfaces. These interactions give rise to nanoscale mesh spacing and a broad, evolving pore size distribution (~12–600 nm), facilitating ECM formation, cell attachment, and migration.
VIA Linx is designed to support best practices in wound care. Wounds vary. Patients vary. Challenges vary. The solution must adapt. To be effective in real-world settings, materials must do more than simply cover a wound. They must establish a stable wound bed and provide a robust structural framework that supports healing.
